Originally from Hamilton, I spent 18 years living and working in the UK and a year ago returned to my lovely home of New Zealand!
I started in the beauty industry in 2004, then in 2017 I completed my training in Permanent Makeup with Finishing Touches UK with the following award winning artists:
Finishing Touches UK
Master Educator for Cosmetic Tattooing
Permanent Makeup Artist of the year UK 2018
Eyebrow Artist of the year UK 2018
In 2018 I went on to further my skills by completing my training in Medical Tattooing with:
Kelly Forshaw Smith
Finishing Touches UK
Master Educator for Medical Tattooing
Medical Micropigmentation winner Uk 2018 & 2019.
Medicos London's work has been featured in various magazines and newspaper articles including The Guardian and The Mail on Sunday Magazine, plus a number of television shows including Embarrassing Bodies, Ten Years Younger and Bodyshockers.
Industry leaders in their field, Finishing Touches are recognised as the Number 1 training centre in the UK for micro-pigmentation. Formed in 1996, Finishing Touches are the UK's largest Cosmetic & Medical Micropigmentation training centre. They are a leading global product supplier and provider
of education, teaching the very latest in techniques on offer, they also provide ongoing support for the lifetime of an artist's career so I have a whole team of experts only a phone call away.
In 2018 I also completed my qualifications in MCA Micro-needling , Dermal Needling, Skin Peels and Dermaplaning with both Finishing Touches UK and The Clinical Academy.
In October 2019 I gained my Early Skin Cancer Detection accreditation from MASCED so that I can spot anything unusual or any changes on any of my clients skin.
In November 2019 I completed my training with X-Tract, a brand new non-laser method of tattoo removal direct with Xtract themselves who very kindly sent a trainer to New Zealand. Their method is like no other tattoo removal, it draws the ink directly out of the skin in a completely safe way with no risk of compromise to the immune system.
In February 2020 I will be training with Mesoestetics, leaders in advanced skincare, with my particular interest being in the reduction of hyperpigmentation and non surgical skin rejuvenation.
In July 2020 I am booked onto advanced masterclasses with Courtney Stevens, an eyeliner specialist from the UK, and Monica Ivani, a combination brow specialist from Ireland who have wonderfully added New Zealand to their list of training locations!
I am fully licensed by Auckland Council and have all my qualifications displayed in my studio.
